The County Council has given permission to continue with the works on the footway on Ditton Lane from the 4th December. The project team are not allowed to use temporary traffic lights but it does at least mean they can carry on with works in and around residents’ accesses. The permit ends on Friday, 13 December.
They have applied for another permit from Monday 6 to Friday 10 January (with the option of the weekend of 11/12 January also if needed) which includes temporary traffic lights between 9.30 and 14.30 on weekdays. The lights will mean they can tackle the works between No.s 112 and 104 which require a larger working area and then complete the final resurfacing.
