       Fen Ditton Parish Council

All members of the Council are summoned to attend the Parish Council Meeting of Fen Ditton Parish Council on Tuesday, 4 August  2026 at 7.00 p.m. The Hangar Marleigh Office for the purposes of considering and resolving the business to be transacted at the meeting as set out in the agenda below. Councillors may observe proceedings remotely and speak at the chair’s discretion, but remote attendance shall not be counted as attendance for the purposes of quorum or voting.

Members of the public are invited to address the meeting between 7.00 p.m. and 7.15 p.m.

Proposal to agree a responce to the second draft of a Sports Management and Maintenance Strategy for the Sports Pitches at Marleigh. Documents sent to councillors for consideration. Proposed response is in the appendix.

Reason: To ensure that the playing fields are capable of being managed  and maintained to deliver sports facilities which are fit for purpose,  sustainable and ensure sufficient benefit of the development to sport  (National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) para 97; South Cambridge  Local Plan 2018 policy SC/4)
