We are writing to notify you of a New Premises Licence application that has been submitted to South Cambridgeshire District Council.

Notice has been given that NWave Events Ltd has on the 06 August 2026 applied to South Cambridgeshire District Council as the Licensing Authority for a new Premises Licence.
Name of Premise: Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival
Address of Premises: Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival, Caius Meadow, Fen Ditton, Cambs (Grid Reference: TL 48005 60365)
General Description of Premises: A field by the River Cam at the bottom of Fen Ditton High Street. The annual Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival will be held here and the bar will be on the field for the day. The bar will have an enclosed area where consumers will be encouraged to stay to drink. The proposed application is to allow the following activities:
Activity: Sale of Alcohol
The sale by retail of alcohol for consumption on the premises only.
Saturday: 11:00 – 17:00
Activity: Playing of recorded music
The playing of recorded music outdoors only
Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00
Activity: The performance of dance
The performance of dance outdoors only
Saturday: 12:00 – 14:00
Activity: Business Operating Hours
Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00
