Trustees & Governance

Serga Collett stepped down as a trustee; Mandy Marson, Ian Griffith, Mike Daniel and Edwin Lee remained as trustees with Nick Moir as ex-officio trustee and chairman (Edwin Lee became chairman at the beginning of 2025).

A full set of appropriate policies is now in place, covering the areas of safeguarding, complaints, investment, financial reserves and financial control. This means we are fully compliant with Almshouse Association and Charity Commission guidelines.

Residents

A new resident was appointed as of 6 May 2024. A resident resigned her appointment as of 31 August 2024; a new resident was appointed as of 1 September 2024.

Finances

The loan from the Alshouse Association has now been fully repaid. Minor works were carried out on the properties. Redecoration of all the outside woodwork is due to commence shortly.

A review of our investment and financial policies has been carried out and financial reserves are being moved to investment and deposit funds in line with our policies.
